Dhaka : Travellers wishing to travel to India through Benapole land port will no longer need to present a negative Covid-19 test report if they have already taken the Covid-19 booster shot.
Mohammad Raju Ahmed, Officer-in-Charge of Benapole Immigration Police, said on February 26.
Travellers who have received a booster dose after two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine will no longer need a 72-hour RT-PCR Covid-19 test certificate to travel to India, Benapole Immigration authorities said.
However, when they return to the country at the end of their travel, they would have to present a 72-hour Covid-19 test certificate from India, said Dr Zahidur Rahman, In-Charge of Benapole Immigration Health Department.
