Dhaka: Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Afroza Khanam (Rita) has directed officials to formulate short, medium and long-term plans to implement the national commitments outlined in the Election Manifesto 2026 in the civil aviation and tourism sector.
The directive came at a meeting held today at the conference room of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism to discuss the implementation of national pledges.
Addressing the officials, the minister said, “Work with enthusiasm so that we can materialise the vision and thoughts of our Honourable Prime Minister.” She emphasised dividing the manifesto commitments into short, medium and long-term targets to ensure effective implementation in the aviation and tourism sectors.
State Minister M Rasheeduzzaman Millat said visible changes must be brought to the civil aviation and tourism sector within the next six months. He also stressed the need for financial prudence in mobilising resources for implementing the commitments.
