Dhaka: The Embassy of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in Doha has issued an urgent notice advising Bangladeshi nationals residing in Qatar to remain alert and cautious in light of the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict and the evolving security situation in the region.
In a statement, the embassy requested all expatriate Bangladeshis to strictly follow instructions issued by the Qatari authorities and to prioritize their personal safety. Citizens have been urged to avoid crowded places and to remain indoors unless absolutely necessary.
The mission also advised Bangladeshis to keep essential documents, including passports and Qatar ID cards, along with necessary medicines, mobile phone chargers, and sufficient dry food, readily accessible in case of emergency.
Additionally, the embassy called on all nationals to refrain from spreading or sharing unverified information, images, or videos on social media that may violate local laws. Everyone has been requested to act responsibly and comply with the laws and regulations of Qatar.
