Dhaka: Gulf Air, the flag carrier of Bahrain, celebrated 75 years of successful operations through a ceremony held at InterContinental Dhaka on July 17.
Saeed Dashti, Country Manager—Bangladesh, and Malek Hasan, Airport Manager—Bangladesh, Gulf Air, were present at the ceremony along with high officials of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh as well as Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, leading travel agents, and other industry stakeholders.
On the occasion, the airline recognized its top performing agents in Bangladesh. Al Gazi Travels, RBC International, Mother Love Air Travels, Proma Overseas, Citycom International Travel Agency, East West Travels Tours, Travelchamp, Kazi Air International, Firsttrip, Triplover, Be Fresh, and Talon Corporation won awards for Best Revenue Growth Performance 2024 in the passenger segment.

Central Global Logistics, APM Global Logistics Bangladesh, Precious Logistics Bangladesh, EFL Global Bangladesh, Bridge International, Expeditors Bangladesh, DSV Air and Sea, Top Line International, Dart Global Logistics, Complete Logistics, Freight Options, and Global Cargo Services won awards for Best Revenue Growth Performance 2024 in the cargo segment.
The ceremony was followed by cultural performances and gala dinner.
