Dhaka: Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will inaugurate this year’s Hajj flights from Dhaka at 2:00 am on April 18, State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism M. Rashiduzzaman Millat confirmed on April 12.
Millat said compared to the previous government, the cost of Hajj travel has been reduced by BDT 12,000 per ticket this year.
Besides, more than 78,000 pilgrims will be transported without operating any chartered flights, the state minister added.
