Dhaka: State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism M. Rashiduzzaman Millat made a surprise midnight visit to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Monday, March 16, to inspect key areas and review overall airport operations.
The Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority and other senior officials accompanied the state minister during the visit and briefed him on ongoing activities and current development projects at the airport.
The minister interacted directly with passengers present at the airport, seeking feedback on available facilities and any inconveniences they encountered during their journey. He also gathered information from officials regarding passenger service quality, security measures, and infrastructure developments.
Millat reaffirmed the government's commitment to improving airport services, noting that various developmental initiatives are already underway and will continue going forward. He stressed the importance of modernizing overall airport management and elevating the standard of passenger experience.
Following the inspection, the minister expressed satisfaction with what he observed. He called on all relevant stakeholders to discharge their duties sincerely and work in a coordinated manner to transform Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport into a more modern and passenger-friendly facility.
