US-Bangla to commence direct flights to Riyadh from April 21

Dhaka: US-Bangla Airlines will be launching direct flights to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on April 21.

The move is aimed at providing passengers with better services, especially migrant workers, as per a release.   

US-Bangla will operate 436-seater Airbus 330-300 aircraft on Dhaka-Riyadh route five days a week.

Currently, the airline has a total of 24 aircraft in its fleet including two Airbus 330-300s.

The flights will depart Dhaka Airport on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 1:35 pm and will arrive in Riyadh at 5:10 pm local time. The return flights from Riyadh will leave at 7:15 pm and will land in Dhaka at 4:00 am.

The minimum fare from Dhaka to Riyadh including tax and surcharge is BDT 54,065 one way and BDT 81,998 return, while the minimum one-way fare from Riyadh to Dhaka is SR 846 and the return fare SR 1,458.

At present, US-Bangla Airlines operates direct flights to Jeddah, Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Doha, Male, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, Guangzhou, Chennai and Kolkata routes, in addition to all domestic routes.

The airline will be launching flights to another destination in Saudi Arabia—Medina—soon, further informed the release.
