ATF prices slashed by 4.5pc in India

The prices of Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) were slashed by 4.5 per cent on Saturday (October 1).
According to a price notification from Indian Oil, the new prices are effective from Saturday.
   Now a kl of Jet fuel (ATF) will cost Rs 115,520.27 in the national capital, Rs 122,028.83 in Kolkata, Rs 114,396.24 in Mumbai and Rs 119,900.91 in Chennai.
ATF prices are revised every fortnight. There was no revision of prices on September 16. Rates differ from state to state depending on incidence of local taxes.
Petrol and diesel prices, however, continued to remain on freeze for a record near six months. Petrol costs Rs 96.72 per litre in the national capital and diesel comes for Rs 89.62.
