Dhaka: bKash has won the ‘Iconic Company 2021’ award at the South Asian Iconic Star Awards held on March 13 at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC).

The company was awarded for its contribution to the financial sector of the country – transforming its landscape and fostering the financial inclusion of millions.

Professor Shibli Rubayat-Ul-Islam, Chairman of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC), as the chief guest, presented the award to Major General Sheikh Md Monirul Islam (retd), Chief of External and Corporate Affairs, bKash the award ceremony.

Several industry representatives were present on the occasion while Dr Shahjahan Mahmood, Chairman of Bangladesh Communication Satellite Company Limited (BCSCL) attended the event as the special guest.
