City Bank’s profit up 10.60pc in July-September

Dhaka: The City Bank Ltd reported a 10.60 per cent year-on-year higher profit at BDT 112.85 crore in the July-September quarter of 2022.

It logged BDT 102.05 crore in profit during the same three-month period in 2021.

Thus, consolidated earnings per share rose to BDT 0.94 for July-September from BDT 0.85 recorded in the same quarter of 2021, according to the un-audited financial statements.

Cit Bank earned BDT 330.17 crore in profit in January-September this year, down from BDT 332.57 crore during the identical nine-month period of 2021.

The private commercial bank posted a consolidated EPS of BDT 2.75 in January-September in 2022 against BDT 2.77 in January-September of 2021.

Its consolidated net operating cash flow per share was BDT 7.35 in negative in January-September this year, which was BDT 5.69 in negative during the same period in 2021.

The bank's consolidated net asset value per share was BDT 27.83 on September 30 this year and BDT 27.27 on December 31, 2021.
