Maldivian, the national airline of the Maldives, has opened a sales and reservation counter at Dilkusha, Motijheel financial hub of the capital Dhaka on 14th September, 2022 to further facilitate travel between the two countries.
Located on the first floor of NIK Tower (opposite Yunus Center), 55 Dilkusha, Motijheel, the new sales and reservation counter was officially opened by Ms. Aisath Jennifer, Deputy Managing Director of Maldivian airline while Mr. Hamid Reza (Chief Financial Officer, Maldivian), Mr. Ibrahim Hamdhan Mohamed (General Manager-Commercial, Maldivian), and Ms. Nazeera Shihab (Maldivian) were present as the special guests at the function.
Besides, Morshedul Alam Chakladar (Managing Director, TAS Group), Kazi Shah Mozakker (Director, TAS Group), and other directors along with Nurul Alam(Head of Sales, Maldivian) were also present at the function amongst other staff members of Maldivian.
The new sales and reservation counter of Maldivian is set up with the aim to serve its customer living in and around Motijheel, the financial hub of Bangladesh, enabling clients to avail of services of Maldivian.
The General Sales Agent of Maldivian in Bangladesh is TAS Group. TAS group is also GSA of Air Asia Berhad, Kuwait Airways. The group also has SMSA Express, TCS, Teleport, TCL Express, Total Air Cargo Services, TAS Aviation, and Northern Aviation Services (NAS) under its umbrella.
The head office of TAS Group is located at Kemal Ataturk Avenue of Banani, Dhaka.
