Dhaka: Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB), in its effort to align its CSR initiatives with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), recently extended support to Acid Survivors Foundation (ASF) for their project titled ‘Strengthening Acid Survivors Network’.
This support will help strengthen existing survivors’ forums at National and Local level to function as a platform for a collective voice to demand justice, protect rights, and as a change agent towards prevention of violence against women and girls.
Chowdhury Akhtar Asif, Additional Managing Director and GCRO, Mutual Trust Bank Ltd (MTB), handed over the cheque to Sarder Jahangir Hossain, Executive Director, Acid Survivors Foundation (ASF) at a simple ceremony held at the Office of Acid Survivors Foundation (ASF), Mohammadpur, Dhaka.
Among others, Tahmina Islam, Coordinator - Case and Partnership Management and Hridita Haider, Coordinator – Health Care from ASF and Azam Khan, Head of Communications Department and Tahmina Zaman Khan, Head of Sustainability and Risk Governance Functions of MTB along with other officials of both organisations were present at the event.
