Tiger Golf Club holds get-together in Gulshan

Dhaka: Tiger Golf Club (TGC), a popular club among foreign expats, diplomats and local golf enthusiasts, hosted a get-together at Khazana restaurant in Gulshan on June 28.

Ambassadors, high commissioners, club members and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.  

Heru Hartanto Subolo, President and Indonesian Ambassador to Bangladesh, Sarah Cooke, Alternate President and British High Commissioner to Bangladesh and Brig General (retd) Md Manzur Qader, Vice President of TGC spoke at the programme.

They emphasised the club's role in popularising golf and fostering international fraternity while supporting social initiatives, particularly benefiting underserved communities.

Club members also donated BDT 1 lac for education of the unprivileged ball boys on the occasion.

Haznah Md Hashim, Malaysian High Commissioner to Dhaka, Ramis Sen Turkish Ambassador to Dhaka, Ghanshyam Bhandari, Nepalese Ambassador to Dhaka, Nguyen Manh Cuong, Vietnamese Ambassador to Dhaka, Leo Tito L Ausan, Jr, Philippines' Ambassador to Dhaka, Park Young-sik, South Korean Ambassador to Dhaka, U Kyaw Soe Moe, Myanmar Ambassador to Dhaka, Haji Haris bin Othman, Brunei Darussalam's High Commissioner to Dhaka, Sheela Pillai, Head of Mission of the Singapore Embassy in Dhaka, Syed Mustafizur Rahman, Treasurer and Ajay Pratap Singh, Executive Member of TGC were also present on the occasion, among others.

The programme concluded with a flute music performance, special golf arrangements for ladies and a raffle draw.
