Dhaka: The Westin Dhaka, in collaboration with Mutual Trust Bank and Maldivian Airlines, has organized a 10-day-long seafood festival, "Oceanic Treasures," to showcase the diverse flavors of ocean for seafood enthusiasts in the capital.
The 10-day-long feast was officially unveiled through an inaugural ceremony held on April 29. Ambassador of Norway Håkon Arald Gulbrandsen, Ambassador of Thailand Thitiporn Chirasawadi, and High Commissioner of Maldives Shiuneen Rasheed attended the event as chief guests along with senior officials of Unique Hotel & Resorts PLC, Mutual Trust Bank, and Maldivian Airlines.
"Oceanic Treasures," running from April 30 to May 9, brings a wide range of coastal-flavored delicacies. Highlights include Authentic Chilled Norwegian Salmon, Signature Seafood Paella, Seafood Thermidor, Seafood Pâté, Seafood Terrine, Seafood Lasagna, Fish Tagine, Samak Hara, and Prawn Pyramid.

The Live Seafood Experience counter features Lobster, King Prawns, Norwegian Salmon Fillets, Calamari, Octopus, and other fresh catches — freshly pre-cut and displayed for guests to choose from, ensuring a personalized dining experience.
The Westin Dhaka said Cluster Executive Chef Rimoun Obaid, Chef Swapan Rozario, and other renowned local culinary artists will present the seafood favorites to deliver an authentic seafood experience.
Alongside seafood delights, the festival offers Mutton Nehari, different types of Kebabs and other tempting dishes for meat lovers. The dessert section features Baklava, Turkish Revani, Tulumba, Lukma, Arabian Mahlabia, Kunafa, Katayef, and more sweet indulgences.
"Oceanic Treasures" will be served only during dinner at The Westin Dhaka's Seasonal Tastes restaurant, located on level 2 of the hotel. The buffet has been priced at BDT 9450 net per person. An exclusive B1G3 offer is available on Mutual Trust Bank cards, while B1G2 and B1G1 offers can be availed with selected cards of 21 other banks.
