Dhaka: Paradise Beach, located in Phuket, Thailand has been declared the most Instagrammable beach in the world by LuxuryHotel.com.
Their study analysed Instagram hashtag data and the length of the world’s most popular beaches, to find the top beaches with the highest ‘posts per metre’.
Thailand’s Paradise Beach had 894,960 hashtags on Instagram with a length of just 150 metres. This allowed it to grab the top spot of the list by a huge margin.
Paradise Beach is home to many popular events like the Full Moon Party, where locals, tourists and famous DJs gather on the full moon of every month to party and dance all night.
The top 10 beaches in the list are: (1) Paradise Beach, Thailand with 5,966 posts per metre, (2) Kelingking Beach, Indonesia with 3,644 posts per metre, (3) South Beach, Miami, Florida with 2,117 posts per metre, (4) Bondi Beach, Sydney, Australia with 2,075 posts per metre, (5) Ponta Negra Beach, Brazil with 1,845 posts per metre, (6) La Barceloneta, Barcelona, Spain with 1,723 posts per metre, (7) Maya Bay, Phi Phi Islands, Thailand with 1,585 posts per metre, (8) Airlie Beach, Australia with 1,367 posts per metre, (9) Glass Beach, California with 1,138 posts per metre, and (10) Venice Beach, California with 951 posts per metre.
