Dhaka : Bangladesh and Vietnam on February 11 discussed on establishing direct air connectivity between their respective capitals Dhaka and Hanoi.
The discussion took place during a courtesy meeting between Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh Chairman Md Monjur Kabir Bhuiyan and Vietnam Ambassador to Bangladesh Nguyen Manh Cuong at the former's head office in the capital.
At the meeting, they also discussed about establishing a ground service agreement and enhancing aviation cooperation, according to a release.
The two sides also talked about ways to further expand mutual collaboration in the aviation sector.
The representatives from the Vietnamese Embassy and Vietnam Airlines were also present on the occasion.
