Biman increases frequency to Delhi, Kolkata

Dhaka : Biman Bangladesh Airlines has increased its flight frequency to India under the air bubble agreement. From October 19, the airline has been operating four flights a week on Dhaka-Kolkata route and five flights a week on Dhaka-Delhi route. 
Earlier, Biman used to operate only two weekly flights on each routes. 
Now, the flag carrier is operating Dhaka-Kolkata flights on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday while Dhaka-Delhi flights will be operated on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. 
Biman's flights will leave Dhaka for Kolkata at 11 am and leave Kolkata for Dhaka at 12:15 pm local time while the airline's flights for Delhi will depart Dhaka at 11 am and leave Delhi for Dhaka at 2:00 pm on the same day. 
All passengers except those under the age of 10 must have a Covid test and a negative certificate within 72 hours before departure. Upon arrival at the airport in India, passengers will have to undergo another Covid test (molecular test).
