Dhaka : Biman Bangladesh Airlines is increasing its flight frequency on Dhaka-Toronto route.
The new frequency will be introduced from October 31, 2024, said the national carrier said in a press release.
An additional Thursday flight on the Dhaka-Toronto route will be added to the winter schedule, the statement added.
Meaning, from October 31, Biman will run three flights on the route each week-one on Saturday, one on Tuesday and one on Thursday.
Currently, one flight runs on Tuesday, while the other runs on Saturday.
Sales of tickets for these flights are open at all of Biman's ticket sales and distribution channels.
There will be a special discount offer for flights on October 31, Biman said.
The airline operates Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on the route.
The national carrier then began operating commercial flights on the route from July 26, 2022.
