Harbin : China Eastern Airlines is strengthening its international network with the launch of a new route between Harbin in China and Tokyo Narita in Japan on December 28, 2024.
The move is part of China Eastern's broader effort to expand its footprint in the Asia-Pacific region, said a release.
The launch of this direct service also aligns with China Eastern's goal to offer more convenient travel options for both leisure and business travellers.
The Harbin-Tokyo Narita service will be initially operated four times a week with Airbus A320 aircraft.
Furthermore, between January 15, 2025, and February 18, 2025, China Eastern will be increasing the frequencies on the route to daily flights.
The new route will attract international passengers who wish to travel further into Asia or beyond, offering them convenient connections through Tokyo Narita, added the release.
