Dhaka : Sri Lanka's FitsAir is increasing flights to Dhaka with two new frequencies. The airline has expanded its operations to/from Bangladesh with five frequencies from the previous three.
FitsAir further plans to increase the frequencies to six days a week in the coming days.
"Expanding our Dhaka operations is a significant step in strengthening regional connectivity, and with increased frequency, passengers now have more travel options, flexibility, and affordability," said Ammar Kassim, Executive Director, FitsAir.
"We are already planning to raise the frequency to six flights per week during the upcoming summer season."
The additional flights is being operated from February 15 to March 29, 2025, with departures on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Colombo-based privately owned FitsAir already flies daily to Dubai and Malé and three weekly flights to Chennai.
