Maldivian meets its agents to explore business opportunities

Dhaka : Total Air Services Ltd, a sister concern of TAS Group established in 2007, inaugurated its city sales office at 18, Erectors House Ground Floor, Banani on recently through a simple ceremony. 
Since its inception, TAS Group has been expanding its business and operations across aviation, tourism and logistics. 
Total Air Services Ltd is the Global Sales Agent (GSA) of AirAsia Berhad and Teleport by AirAsia and Kuwait Airways since 2015 and 2020 respectively. The company is also the Global Sales Agent (GSA) of Maldivian, the airline division of Island Aviation Services based in Malé, Maldives, since 2021.
On February 28, Total Air Services Ltd and Maldivian team met their valued agents to explore Maldives and Maldivian at Hotel Sarina in the capital. 
Shiruzimath Sameer, High Commissioner of the Republic of Maldives in Bangladesh and Mohamed Nihad, Managing Director of Maldivian (IASL), TAS Group Charmain K M Mozibul Hoque and its Board Members attended the event.
Maldivian Managing Director Mohamed Mihad, Head of Commercial Hussain Safuath and Hassan Haleem, Manager Corporate Sales along with TAS Group Chairman KM Mozibul Hoque, Vice Chairman Sheikh Mamun, Managing Director Morshedul Alam Chakladar, Director Business Development Kazi Shah Muzakker Ahmadul Hoque and other high officials were also present on the occasion. 
Maldivian is currently operating three weekly direct flights on Dhaka-Male route on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
TAS Group is currently handling 1000 passengers an average and 70 tons of cargo from Dhaka every day. Till date, the company has over 150 employees across seven offices in three major cities of Bangladesh and four warehouses located near the major airport and seaport of the country.
