Dhaka : Thai Airways is increasing flight frequencies on Dhaka-Bangkok-Dhaka to five weekly from March 11, announced the popular island nation's flag carrier.
The airline will operate flights on the route on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Flight TG 322 departs Dhaka Airport at 1340 hours and arrives in Bangkok at 1710 hours local time while the return flight TG 321 leaves Bangkok at 1055 hours and reaches Dhaka at 1230 hours local time on the same days.
THAI operates flights to and from Dhaka with A350-900 aircraft.
For the first time in five long years, Thai Airways International has reported a long-awaited full-year consolidated net profit in the year 2021, in its latest financial report.
Thai Airways managed to post a brighter contrast to its 2020 postings with its best-ever net profit that goes beyond THB 55 billion (USD 1.68 billion) in 2021.
The major positive change was in lieu of the THB 61.8 billion (USD 1.89 billion) injected as part of the restructuring plan, as well as income from the sales of unused assets.
