Dhaka : United College of Aviation, Science, and Management (UCASM) celebrated the graduation of its latest batch of BITech students in a grand ceremony.
Since its inception in 2009, UCASM has been renowned for providing high-quality education in aviation, aeronautical engineering, IT, and science in Bangladesh.
Students were awarded Pearson BITech Level 5 certificates at this year's ceremony, which recognise completing the first and second years of a UK Bachelor's program.
The final year will be completed in the United Kingdom. Additionally, students from the Pearson BITech Level 3 batch, equivalent to A-levels or HSC, also received certificates.
The chief guest at the BITech graduation ceremony was Md Monjur Kabir Bhuiyan, Chairman of Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB). Other guests included Md Mukit-ul-Alam Minia, Member (Flight Standards and Regulations) of CAAB; Abdullah Al Mamun, Regional Development Manager, Bangladesh and Nepal, Pearson Edexcel; and Kazi Wahidul Alam, Editor, The Bangladesh Monitor.
While congratulating the newly graduated students, the chief guest said, "The aviation sector is a vast and promising field. The global aviation industry is expanding rapidly, creating vast employment opportunities worldwide. Our students are full of intelligence and potential. With the right guidance, they can bring glory to the country."
At the end of the ceremony, the guests handed over certificates to the students and wished them a bright future.
