US-Bangla launching flights to Male from November

Dhaka : US-Bangla Airlines has announced to start flights to Male, the capital of Maldives from the third week of November. 
The largest private carrier of the country will operate flights on Dhaka-Male-Dhaka route four days a week, said a press release, making it the first Bangladeshi airline to operate flights on the route. 
US-Bangla will operate 164-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft from Dhaka to Male. 
The airline's fleet consists of a total of 14 aircraft, including four Boeing 737-800s and seven brand new ATR 72-600s. 
Currently, US-Bangla Airlines operates flights to Dubai, Muscat, Doha, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Chennai and Guangzhou. 
Flights on the Kolkata and Bangkok routes are temporarily suspended due to travel bans imposed following the coronavirus pandemic. 
The airline will soon launch flights to Colombo, Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam, said the press release. 

From September 30, the airline will also be launching flights from Jashore to Chattogram and Cox's Bazar as well as from Saidpur to Chattogram.         
New domestic routes 
US-Bangla Airlines announced to expand its domestic network by launching flights on Jashore-Chattogram, Saidpur-Chattogram routes from September 30 and Jashore-Cox's Bazar from October 1.
According to a press release issued on September 22, the largest private carrier of the country operated its inaugural flight from Jashore and Saidpur to Chattogram on September 30 and from Jashore to Cox's Bazar on October 1.
Initially, there will be three flights a week on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays on Jashore-Chattogram route. The flights will take off at 9:15 am from Jashore and will return from the port city on the same day with its departure at 5:10 pm.
The airline will also operate three flights to the same destination from Saidpur airport. The flights will take off at 10:45 am from Saidpur and will return from the port city on the same day with its departure at 12:35 pm.
Meanwhile, three flights per week on Saturdays, Mondays and Fridays will be operated on Jashore-Cox's Bazar route, starting from Jashore at 1:45 pm and departing from Cox's Bazar at 3:25 pm.
The minimum one-way fare on Jashore-Chattogram route including all kinds of taxes and surcharges is BDT 6,000 while the return fare is BDT 12,000. 
From Jashore to Cox's Bazar, the minimum one-way fare is BDT 6,500 while the return fare is BDT 13,000. 
The minimum one-way fare from Saidpur to Chattogram is BDT 6,200 while the return fare is BDT 12,400.
The airline also plans to operate flights between Saidpur-Cox's Bazar, Sylhet-Chattogram and Sylhet-Cox's Bazar in the near future, said the press release.
