Dhaka: NOVOAIR, one of Bangladesh’s leading private airlines, stepped into its 14th year of operations on January 9, 2026, marking the milestone with a series of celebrations and special customer offers.
To commemorate the anniversary, the airline has announced a month-long 14 percent discount on airfares for its valued passengers, read a press release. Tickets under this offer can be purchased from NOVOAIR sales centers, its official website, and its smartphone app. Customers booking through the website or app may also avail the offer using the promo code VQANNI14.
NOVOAIR launched its inaugural commercial flight on the Dhaka–Chattogram route on January 9, 2013. Since then, it has gradually expanded its network and services, positioning itself as a reliable carrier in the domestic aviation market through a focus on service quality, punctuality, and safety.
According to the airline, over the past 13 years, it has operated more than 142,000 flights and safely carried over 8 million passengers.
NOVOAIR has also introduced several passenger-centric initiatives, becoming the first Bangladeshi airline to launch the “SMILES” Frequent Flyer Program, co-branded cards, a dedicated mobile app for ticket purchases, and web check-in facilities. SMILES members currently enjoy special discounts at partner brand outlets, while passengers can also access offers through the Boarding Pass Privilege Program.
Extending thanks to regulators, business partners, and passengers, NOVOAIR Managing Director Mofizur Rahman said the airline remains committed to safe and on-time operations.

At present, NOVOAIR operates daily flights from Dhaka to Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Sylhet, and Saidpur.
