Dhaka: ShareTrip’s Co-Founder and CEO Sadia Haque has been recognized with the Outstanding Woman in Business award at the 23rd edition of DHL Express - The Daily Star Bangladesh Business Awards 2024 held in the capital on September 23.
The event was held attended by Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed as the Chief Guest and Commerce Adviser Sk Bashir Uddin as the Special Guest, alongside leading business figures and policymakers.
Upon receiving the award, ShareTrip CEO Haque said, "Tourism is not often seen as a key contributor to the GDP or economic growth. I hope this recognition, both for myself and for ShareTrip, marks a turning point for the industry."
Leaving a thriving corporate career, Sadia Haque co-founded ShareTrip, Bangladesh's leading travel-tech startup.
She pioneered digital booking and fintech services. As a female founder, she champions entrepreneurship, breaking barriers in a male-dominated industry while redefining how Bangladesh travels.
The award celebrates Sadia Haque’s leadership in transforming ShareTrip into a trailblazing force that is redefining travel, lifestyle, and digital innovation in Bangladesh.
Her achievement inspires not only ShareTrip’s team but the entire business community, said ShareTrip in a post.
