Dhaka: Emirates took home the highest honor at the ShareTrip–Monitor Airline of the Year 2024 Awards, held at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka on July 5, winning the Gold trophy in the Airline of the Year category. Qatar Airways and Singapore Airlines followed as Silver and Bronze winners respectively in this flagship category.
The award ceremony, based on feedback from over 3,000 Bangladeshi travelers in an open online survey, reflects Emirates’ continued dominance in international aviation.
Based in Dubai, Emirates has grown into one of the world’s largest international carriers, operating a fleet of over 260 wide-body aircraft—mainly Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s. In Bangladesh, it operates direct flights from Dhaka to Dubai, connecting Bangladeshi travelers to over 130 global destinations. Its strong performance in service, reliability, and brand trust helped secure its place as Airline of the Year.
