flydubai to launch full schedule from July 1

Dhaka: In a broader operational update, Dubai-based airline flydubai has confirmed plans to restore its full flight schedule across its network beginning July 1, following the completion of all necessary safety and logistical assessments.

The move underscores the carrier’s efforts to enhance regional and international connectivity while responding to a steady rise in travel demand ahead of the busy summer travel period.

As part of the phased resumption, flydubai will restart daily flights to Damascus from June 26. Services to the Syrian capital will operate out of Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport (DXB), marking the airline’s return to the Syrian market as more regional airspace reopens and travel restrictions are lifted.

flydubai CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith said, “We continue to monitor the situation closely and adjust our flight schedule accordingly. Our agility and preparedness have enabled us to act quickly during challenging times, while adhering to the highest operational standards and always prioritising the safety of our crew and passengers.

We are pleased to see our operations resuming and look forward to the return of services to the remaining affected markets soon.''
