Dhaka: The 11th District Assembly of Inner Wheel District 345 Bangladesh was held with elegance and enthusiasm at the Sheraton Dhaka in Banani, celebrating a momentous transition in leadership and recognizing outstanding services across the district.

Suraiya Zannath, Lead Governance Specialist (Financial Management) for the South Asia Region at The World Bank  graced the occasion as the Chief Guest . In her keynote address, she inspired attendees with words of encouragement and appreciation for the organization’s commitment to service and community development.

Tahia Khalil, National Representative of Inner Wheel Bangladesh, attended the event as Guest of Honour, lending further prestige to the occasion.

A key highlight of the assembly was the formal installation of Mushayela Karim as the new District Chairman for the 2025–2026 Inner Wheel year. The ceremonial collar exchange was conducted by Immediate Past District Chairman Farahnaz Qaiyum, symbolizing continuity, unity, and the enduring spirit of friendship within the Inner Wheel movement.

During the assembly, Farahnaz Qaiyum also recognized members of her outgoing Executive Committee for their dedication and achievements. Club Presidents, Secretaries, Treasurers, ISOs, and Correspondents were presented with crests and certificates in appreciation of their exceptional contributions over the past year.

In her inaugural speech, Chairman Mushayela Karim introduced her Executive Committee and announced the formation of her Standing Committees. She shared her vision for the year ahead, emphasizing collaboration and strengthening Inner Wheel’s mission of friendship and humanitarian service.

The gathering was attended by past leaders, club executives and distinguished guests, all of whom expressed strong support for the incoming leadership. The assembly concluded with renewed commitment to Inner Wheel’s core values and a shared aspiration to foster a more compassionate and empowered society in the coming year
