Dhaka : Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation (BPC) and Directors Guild Bangladesh signed a two-year bilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on February 8, 2026.
The signing ceremony was held at Parjatan Bhaban in the capital's Agargaon, attended by BPC Chairman Saema Shaheen Sultana and Directors Guild Bangladesh President Shahiduzzaman Selim, alongside senior officials from both organizations.
Under the MoU, Directors Guild Bangladesh's registered members and BPC will work together to promote tourism in Bangladesh and publicize BPC's commercial units.
With Bangladeshi dramas, documentaries, and audio-visual content gaining domestic and international audiences through digital platforms such as YouTube, OTT platforms, and social media, BPC's hotels, motels, and resort compounds will be made available to Directors Guild Bangladesh as shooting locations free of charge.
During production, guild members will also be able to use accommodation at BPC's commercial units at special discounted rates.
In turn, dramas, films, and audio-visual content produced by guild members will create opportunities to promote BPC's hotels, motels, and tourism facilities.
Directors Guild Bangladesh will also support positive and engaging presentation of BPC's properties in Bangladesh and abroad through visual storytelling. The names of relevant BPC commercial units will be used as shooting-spot identifiers in productions.
