Dhaka : HB Aviation and Tourism Institute recently organized its 9th Certificate and Award Ceremony at KIB 3D Auditorium in the capital, marking the institute's 9th anniversary.

At the ceremony, 200 students upon completion of their courses in 2025 received certificates, while over 40 individuals were honored with awards for professional success and entrepreneurship.

The institute announced that HB Aviation and Tourism Institute has become the first private aviation and tourism training institute in Bangladesh to obtain membership of the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA). Noor Ahmed Hamid, CEO of Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), congratulated the students through a video message from Malaysia.

Taufiq Rahman, Secretary of PATA Bangladesh Chapter, said, the membership would create international exposure and career opportunities for HB students.

Distinguished guests included Syed Ghulam Qadir, Tourism Expert and CEO, Adventure Escape Asia; M Mashiur Rahman, General Manager, Galaxy Holidays Limited; and Kuntal Aulad, Assistant General Manager (Sales), Jazeera Airways.

The institute also announced its partnership with Sylhet Strikers of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). National cricketer Mehedi Hasan Miraz sent a congratulatory video message on the occasion.
