Dhaka : Since 1998, the popular travel agency Mountain Club Tours has been facilitating corporate travel and FIT from Bangladesh to many countries in the world. The agency offers complete tour packages-visa, air ticket, hotel, internal transport, and food-tailor-made for each customer.

Md Abdul Hakim, Proprietor, Mountain Club Tours, said this while taking to The Bangladesh Monitor at his office in the capital.

Mountain Club Tours initially started with packages to Nepal. Gradually, later, they started organising tours to Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Europe too, mentioned Hakim.

"We have been facilitating travel for VIPs to Europe's Australia, New Zealand, Germany and other Shenzhen countries as well," said Hakim.

About the current state of the market, Md Abdul Hakim noted that travelling tendency among Bangladeshis has grown tremendously over the years.

"The only time travel saw a downward trend was amid the pandemic. Nevertheless, currently, travel has even surpassed pre-pandemic times," claimed Hakim.

"Currently, we organise plenty of such group tours a year. They usually avail weeklong packages. Every month, we organise, at least, 1-2 group tours," mentioned the Proprietor.

Mountain Club Tours also processes visas for Shenzhen and other countries, said Hakim, adding, "We, at least, process 30 visas a month to all the popular destinations in Europe."

The agency also facilitates leisure travel for families, shared the Proprietor.

Asked which outbound destinations are getting the most number of travellers from Bangladesh currently, Hakim replied SAARC countries.

"Currently, we are selling tour packages to SAARC countries the most," he further said.

Thanks to their top-notch services, Mountain Club Tours gets plenty of repeat customers and that is the main reason behind their long success, claimed the Proprietor.
