Dhaka: Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel has unveiled "Buon Appetito," an Italian-themed Weekend Theme Night at its all-day dining restaurant Bahar, celebrating the flavors and traditions of Italian cuisine. The dining experience is running every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from September 3 to 26, turning Bahar into an Italian dining destination for the duration of the celebration."Buon Appetito" officially began on September 3 with a launch evening and food tasting event, attended by guests and representatives from the Italian community, along with media professionals, lifestyle influencers, and food bloggers. The name "Buon Appetito," meaning "good appetite" in Italian, reflects the spirit of the celebration, which invites guests to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine, shared dining, and warm hospitality curated by the hotel's culinary team.The buffet spread features freshly baked artisan breads, rustic antipasti, handcrafted pastas, signature risottos, wood-fired Italian classics, grilled seafood and meats, and an assortment of regional cheeses. The dessert selection includes Tiramisu, Panna Cotta, Torta Caprese, Pistachio Cannoli, and Italian Crème Brûlée, among other authentic Italian sweets. Interactive live cooking stations have also been set up, where chefs prepare signature dishes fresh to order. The buffet has been priced at BDT 3,950 net per person. A 25% discount will be available for select bank cardholders, GP Star members, and Banglalink Orange Club customers, as well as for group bookings.Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel said the initiative is part of its ongoing effort to connect guests with diverse global cuisines through its monthly Weekend Theme Nights at Bahar, offering a new culinary destination each time.
