ATR appoints new CEO, CFO

Dhaka: ATR has appointed Vittorio Lorenzo Della Bella as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective November 1. The new appointee succeeds Nathalie Tarnaud Laude in line with ATR's bylaws, according to a statement from the Franco-Italian aircraft manufacturer on September 24.

Della Bella currently serves as President of Leonardo Helicopters U.S. He previously held the role of Senior Vice-President for Customer Support, Services & Training at Leonardo Helicopters, overseeing a workforce of roughly 2,500 employees supporting more than 4,500 helicopters and 1,300 customers globally.

His career also includes senior posts in program management, business development, customer support, and international industrial cooperation, including a stint as Managing Director of NHIndustries.

Alongside the CEO change, ATR named Patrick Bergues as Senior Vice-President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer, also effective November 1.

He joins from Airbus, where he most recently held the CFO role for Airbus in the United States and for Starlab Space. The appointment replaces Andrea Coccetti, who is moving to a new position within the Leonardo group.

Over a career spanning more than three decades in aerospace finance, Bergues has worked across corporate finance, aircraft financing, insurance and risk management, and financial analysis and business control at Airbus's commercial aircraft, helicopters, defense, space, and services divisions.
