Chattogram Airport staying open 24 hours, four days a week in winter

Chattogram : Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh has directed Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram to stay open 24 hours a day for four days a week in winter, to help flights land there which are diverted from Dhaka over dense fog issues.

CAAB Chairman Air Vice Marshal Md Monjur Kabir Bhuiyan instructed the concerned representatives during his visit to the airport in Chatto-gram on Novem-ber 17.

He further mentioned, Osmani-International Airport in Sylhet will also remain open 24 hours for the other three days of the week, to work as another alternative landing destination for flights.
