Discovery Tours expands outbound offerings with Umrah, Asia, luxury packages

: Dhaka-based travel company Discovery Tours and Logistic is expanding its
outbound portfolio with a range of group tours and specialized travel packages
covering religious, leisure and adventure destinations, according to CEO
Zahirul Alam Bhuiyan.
The
company is currently promoting several international group tours, including a
China-Japan-Shanghai cruise package starting at USD 1,000 per person. It is
also arranging road-based trips to Malaysia and Singapore, with Johor Bahru
included as part of selected itineraries.
Religious
tourism remains another major focus, with Discovery Tours offering Umrah
packages that combine pilgrimage with sightseeing across Saudi Arabia and other
destinations. One 9-day, 8-night Umrah and Saudi Arabia program is scheduled
for October 13-21 and November 13-21, 2026, covering Jeddah, Taif, Makkah and
Madinah.
The itinerary includes Umrah at Masjid al-Haram, visits to major religious and historical sites in Makkah and Madinah, and sightseeing in Taif and Jeddah. The package includes hotel accommodation, airport transfers and ground handling, with prices starting at BDT 206,200 per person for quad sharing, according to the company.

Discovery
Tours is also offering an Umrah-plus program combining pilgrimage with a visit
to Riyadh. The 13-day, 12-night package includes five nights in Makkah, five in
Madinah and two in Riyadh. Starting at BDT 219,000 per person, the package
includes accommodation, full-board meals, destination entry tickets and five
experiences, with group sizes capped at 10 travelers.

said the company is also seeing strong interest in Arctic expeditions, an
increasingly specialized segment of outbound travel that Discovery Tours has
been promoting.
For
leisure travelers, the company is marketing a Maldives offer featuring Hard
Rock Hotel Maldives and Saii Lagoon Maldives, described as interconnected
island resorts. The promotion offers up to 30 percent off for stays through
September 30, 2026, including green tax, buffet breakfast and round-trip
airport speedboat transfers.
Additional
discounts are available for larger group bookings, with a further 5 percent
incentive offered for qualifying reservations.
