Emirates resumes daily Dubai-Kuwait flights

Dhaka: Emirates has resumed daily passenger flights between Dubai and Kuwait from August 22, restoring direct capacity following a recent disruption to its regional schedule.

The Dubai-based carrier now operates the seven-weekly service with its Airbus A350 aircraft, according to media reports.

The Kuwait-bound flight, EK857, departs Dubai International Airport at 2:55 pm and lands at Kuwait International Airport at 3:45 pm, while the return leg, EK858, leaves Kuwait at 5:40 pm and arrives in Dubai at 8:25 pm. All times are local.

Before the disruption, Emirates operated four daily flights between the two cities. The airline had pulled Kuwait services entirely amid wider regional aviation disruption.

Earlier, Emirates also restored its Dubai-Bahrain route from August 15, resuming with a single daily frequency after previously running three daily flights. The route is also served with the airline's A350 aircraft.

The restored Kuwait and Bahrain frequencies add short-haul Gulf capacity as Emirates continues to review regional operating conditions.

Etihad Airways also maintains direct service between Abu Dhabi and Kuwait, with EY653 and EY654 connecting Zayed International Airport and Kuwait International Airport.

Kuwait Airways and Jazeera Airways have continued operating multiple daily flights between Kuwait and UAE airports throughout the recent schedule adjustments.

Emirates' restored Dubai-Kuwait service reconnects passengers with the carrier's broader international network and re-establishes a predictable departure window on one of the Gulf's key short-haul markets.

Passengers traveling between the two cities are advised to check flight status before departure, as Gulf network schedules remain subject to ongoing operational review.
