flydubai resumes Budapest flights, expanding to daily service

Dubai : flydubai resumed nonstop flights between Dubai and Budapest on July 31, restoring direct air links between the United Arab Emirates and Hungary after a suspension.

The Dubai-based carrier said it is initially operating three weekly flights between Dubai Intern-ational Airport and Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The service will be upgraded to daily flights from October 25 to meet expected demand during the winter travel season.

The airline said the restored route is aimed at serving leisure travelers, business passengers and those visiting friends and relatives, while improving connectivity bet-ween Hungary and flydubai's network of more than 120 destinations.

The Budapest service will also operate under flydubai's codeshare partnership with Emi-rates, allowing passengers to book a single ticket, check baggage through to their final destination and access the combined route network of both airlines.
