Oman Air adds widebody capacity on Dhaka route in winter

The Muscat-based airline
currently operates daily flights between Dhaka and Muscat. The additional
widebody service will provide more seats and access to the airline’s long-haul
cabin experience.
The winter schedule
begins October 25, with frequency and capacity increases across the carrier’s
network in the Gulf Cooperation Council region, Europe, Russia and the Far
East.
Zurich will see capacity
triple from summer levels, with widebody aircraft operating up to five weekly
services. Flights to Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, Milan and Istanbul will also
rise to as many as five per week. Services to Moscow will double from four to
eight weekly flights.
Oman Air will also
operate four weekly flights to Singapore, twice-weekly services to Tashkent and
a weekly flight to Sochi. Domestic connectivity will expand, with Muscat–Khasab
flights increasing to four weekly and Muscat–Salalah services reaching five
daily.
Expanded codeshare
agreements with Lufthansa, SWISS and Malaysia Airlines will add connections to
European cities and destinations in China, including Shanghai, Beijing Daxing
and Guangzhou.
