Qatar Airways to boost Doha-Dubai route to five daily flights

Dhaka: Qatar Airways is set to increase its service between Hamad International Airport in Doha and Dubai International Airport to five daily flights, bringing the route to up to 35 weekly frequencies.
The expansion, announced on June 5, is being rolled out in phases. The airline added a third daily flight on June 5, with a fourth scheduled to follow on June 15 and a fifth to resume during the summer season. The flights will be operated using Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 aircraft.
The increased Dubai frequencies are part of a broader effort to restore and expand Qatar Airways' presence in the United Arab Emirates. The airline resumed flights to Dubai and Sharjah International Airport in April and restarted service to Abu Dhabi International Airport as of May.
The carrier now claims to serve more than 20 destinations across the Middle East and plans to expand its global network to over 160 destinations by summer.
The additional frequencies aim to meet growing demand between Doha and Dubai, offering passengers greater flexibility on a route serving both business and leisure travelers. The two cities rank among the busiest aviation hubs in the Gulf region.
Qatar Airways was named the World's Best Airline for a ninth consecutive time at the 2025 Skytrax World Airline Awards and recently received Cirium's Platinum recognition for reliability and operational performance.
