Syed Shafat Uddin Ahmed Tomal honored as Leading Tourism Entrepreneur

Dhaka : Syed Shafat Uddin Ahmed Tomal, CEO of Market n-Trance Holidays, received recognition as the Leang Tourism Entrepreneur for his work in sustainable and educational tourism at the Bangladesh Travel, Tourism, and Hospitality Awards 2025.

Syed Shafat Uddin Ahmed Tomal, Managing Director, Market n-Trance Holidays received the award from Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Adviser to the Interim Government on Environment, Forest and Climate Affairs; Ahmed Yusuf Walid, President and CEO of Galaxy Bangladesh Group; Kazi Wahidul Alam, Editor of The Bangladesh Monitor; and Syed Ghulam Qadir, Member of the Jury Board at InterContinental Dhaka.

Syed Shafat Uddin Ahmed Tomal, CEO of Market n-Trance Holidays, is a visionary tourism entrepreneur with 17 years of experience in sustainable and educational tourism. He has engaged over 5,000 children in eco-tourism, biodiversity awareness, and wildlife conservation education. As a private stakeholder committee member of the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change and an adjunct faculty member  at AIUB, he bridges tourism, education, and sustainability. His international recognition reflects his leadership.
