US-Bangla links boarding bridge at CXB's new terminal

Dhaka: US-Bangla Airlines has become the first carrier to use the boarding bridge at the new terminal of Cox's Bazar Airport (CXB).
The milestone was reached on October 17 with flight BS145, operated with a Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Airport authorities formally inaugurated the initiative, according to a release from the airline.
A boarding bridge connects the terminal building directly to the aircraft, allowing passengers to board and disembark without stepping outside. The facility is expected to make the process smoother and more comfortable for travelers.
Officials said the addition also broadens scope for delivering modern passenger services at the airport, which has seen expanded operations following the opening of its new terminal.
US-Bangla Airlines said it remains focused on offering high-quality service and continues working to ensure safe, comfortable, and seamless travel experiences for passengers.
The airline added that initiatives like the new boarding bridge are expected to play a key role in further improving passenger service standards at the Cox's Bazar facility going forward.
