US-Bangla opens two engineering positions in GSE division


The airline is seeking
candidates for GSE Maintenance Engineer and GSE Operations Engineer roles.
Ground support equipment is used in several stages of aircraft turnaround,
including passenger boarding, baggage handling, aircraft parking and other ramp
activities.
The maintenance position
will focus on preventive and corrective servicing of GSE, including diagnosing
faults, troubleshooting, carrying out repairs and replacing components. The
engineer will also monitor equipment performance and downtime and investigate
recurring technical problems to improve reliability.
The operations engineer
will be responsible for supporting the safe and efficient use of GSE,
coordinating with operational teams and helping ensure ground activities meet
established safety and operating requirements.
Applicants for the
maintenance engineering role must have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical,
electrical and electronic, mechatronics, automotive or electromechanical
engineering, along with two to three years of relevant experience.
US-Bangla said technical
knowledge, safety awareness, teamwork and sound decision-making will be important
for the roles.
