Dhaka : As US-Bangla Airlines stepped into its 12th year of successful operations on July 17 this year, it announced to continue expanding its network by launching direct flights from Dhaka to London and Rome by 2026 as well as Toronto by 2028.
It currently flies to 20 domestic and international destinations, maintaining a record of over 90 percent on-time performance since inception, said a release.
Currently, the airline operates a fleet of 24 aircraft, including two Airbus 330-300s and nine Boeing 737-800s.
US-Bangla plans to expand its fleet with another Airbus 330-300 soon, which it will operate on its upcoming routes to Europe and North America.
In the country, US-Bangla connects Dhaka with Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Sylhet, Jashore, Saidpur, and Rajshahi.
Its international routes include Kolkata, Chennai, Male, Muscat, Doha, Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah, Riyadh, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, and Guangzhou.
It has nearly 3,000 employees at home and abroad.
The airline won the 'Best Domestic Airline' award in 2024 for the third consecutive year by the travel trade publication The Bangladesh Monitor.
The airline has a 15-minute baggage delivery service for international flights, added the release.
Beyond passenger transport, US-Bangla is engaged in cargo operations across domestic and international routes.
US-Bangla facilitates ticket purchases through its website, mobile app, over 40 sales offices, and a network of travel agencies.
The airline also offers its 'Skystar' program for frequent flyers to enhance customer loyalty.
