German ambassador visits Zia Memorial Museum in Chattogram

Dhaka: German Ambassador to Bangladesh Dr. Rüdiger Lotz visited the Zia Memorial Museum during his trip to Chattogram, according to a post shared by the German Embassy on social media.

The museum, located at the historic Old Circuit House, is known as the place where former President Ziaur Rahman spent the final hours of his life before being assassinated in 1981.

Describing the experience as “moving and memorable,” the ambassador expressed appreciation to the museum authorities and staff for allowing the visit while the facility remains closed for renovation work.
