AKIJ Resource enters healthcare sector with AKIJ Mediplex
The facility was inaugurated
by AKIJ Resource Chairman Faria Hossain, marking the group’s expansion beyond
its core businesses in construction, consumer goods, technology, and services.
The center offers
diagnostic and laboratory services powered by modern and AI-assisted technology,
along with facilities such as home sample collection, digital reporting, and
online appointment booking to improve patient convenience.
Company officials said,
the initiative aims to build a broader healthcare network focused on accessible
and reliable medical services across the country, while also contributing to
job creation and sector development.
They added that growing
demand for faster and more accurate diagnostic services in Bangladesh makes
healthcare a key area for long-term investment.
With AKIJ Mediplex, the
group signals its entry into the healthcare industry, with plans to expand
services in the future.
