Dhaka: Bangladesh's Ministry of Religious Affairs has released the roadmap for Hajj 2027 (Hijri 1448), urging prospective pilgrims to complete their registration by September 26 this year.
The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced the schedule at a ceremony in Jeddah on May 29 and subsequently handed it over to religious affairs ministers of participating countries.
Religious Affairs Minister Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain (Kaikobad) attended the event as an invited guest. Saudi Assistant Minister for Hajj and Umrah Dr. Al Hassan bin Yahya Al Manakhrah formally handed him the roadmap on the occasion.
According to the roadmap, the bilateral Hajj agreement between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia will be signed on November 8, 2026. Issuance of Hajj visas will begin on January 28, 2027, while flight operations are scheduled to commence on April 8, 2027.
The holy Hajj is expected to be observed on May 15, 2027 (9 Jilhaj), subject to the sighting of the moon.

Signing of service package agreements — covering tents, accommodation in Makkah and Madinah, catering, and transportation — will take place between July 29, 2026, and January 23, 2027.
Pilgrims' information must be uploaded to the Masar Nusuk system between August 14, 2026, and January 28, 2027.
