Innovate Solution expands Dhaka-built travel technology across 40 countries

Dhaka
: Travel technology developed in Bangladesh is increasingly finding customers
in international markets, with Innovate Solution now serving more than 6,200
travel businesses across over 40 countries.
Founded
in 2013, the company has evolved from a technology provider into a travel-tech
business offering booking, accounting, communication, hotel management and
artificial intelligence solutions. Its head office is in Singapore, with a
regional office in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, while more than 120 engineers and
product specialists work from Dhaka.
In
an interview with The Bangladesh Monitor, Innovate Solution CEO Md Abdus Samad
spoke about the company's international growth, its technology platforms and
why Bangladesh can compete in the global travel-tech market.
Samad
said travel technology became the company's primary focus in 2021, when it
began expanding its original flight-booking system into a broader suite of
products under the InnoTravelTech platform.
"The
strength of our platform is its connectivity," he said, explaining that
the system is integrated with major global distribution systems such as
Amadeus, Sabre and Travelport, along with 37 NDC airlines, more than 100
low-cost carriers and over two million hotels.
According
to Samad, the technology can significantly reduce the time required for a new
travel agency to become operational. An agency can reportedly be brought onto
the platform within a week, while the system allows businesses to operate
branded booking websites with their own markup structures, credit limits and
multi-currency pricing.
Innovate
Solution has also developed different commercial models to serve agencies of
varying sizes. InnoTravelTech is offered as an enterprise solution, while
ReservationHub provides a subscription-based version that has gained users in
the United States, Europe and the Middle East.
Samad
added the company's products now cover areas well beyond airline reservations.
UmrahCore, for example, is designed for Hajj and Umrah operators, incorporating
package management, visas, flights, hotel allocation, transportation and
accounting.
Other
products include travoBooks for travel accounting, TRI for real-time sales and
profitability monitoring, Drop Catch for tracking hotel prices and bedsKey, a
cloud-based management system for independent hotels.
Artificial
intelligence is becoming another major focus for the company. Its Inno Message
platform brings WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Viber, SMS, email and CRM
communications into a single interface. The company is developing AI-based
assistants that can respond to customer queries and eventually complete
air-ticket bookings.
Samad
mentioned travoPilot, the company's natural-language AI travel assistant, is
also part of its long-term technology strategy.
The
company currently works with 72 leading wholesale agencies in countries
including Pakistan, the UAE, Jordan, Qatar, Italy, Australia, Canada, the
Netherlands and Saudi Arabia. These wholesalers, in turn, serve large networks
of sub-agencies.
Asked
what allows a technology company from Bangladesh to compete internationally,
Samad pointed to cost competitiveness and technical capability.
"Bangladesh
can deliver quality software at a competitive price," he claimed, adding
that round-the-clock support has also been important in maintaining
relationships with overseas clients.
Despite
its international focus, Innovate Solution continues to maintain a substantial
technology operation in Dhaka. The company also serves enterprise clients and a
B2B agent network in Bangladesh.
