Dhaka: Turkey’s flag carrier Turkish Airlines became the sponsor of Rangpur Riders through a jersey unveiling ceremony held at Bashundhara Sports Complex in the capital on June 29.
Rangpur Riders will be representing Bangladesh in the Global Super League (GSL) 2025 in Guyana.
With the move, Turkish Airlines reaffirmed its commitment to sports and culture in Bangladesh, said the carrier’s Country Manager in Bangladesh İslam Güre on a social media post.
At the ceremony, Turkish Airlines representatives met the media and informed that supporting sports has always been close to the airline’s heart.
The Country Manager gave out a special appreciation to Rangpur Riders, its management, and its Captain Nurul Hasan Sohan, who will lead the team on the global stage.
