Dhaka: For the first time in Bangladesh, diners will be able to eat in mid-air through a fly dining experience from February 2021. Fly Dining, a sky restaurant franchise, is going to be launched on February 1 near Sugandha Beach in Cox's Bazar – a popular tourist destination in the country – offering people the chance to dine 150 feet above the ground.
An agreement in this regard was signed between the landowner and multinational company Your Travel. Fayez Abu Bakar Nabab, Chairman of Your Travel, and Jobayer Chowdhury Manik, the landowner, signed the agreement at the National Press Club in the city on December 6.
Md Aman Ullah, Chief Liaison Officer, Your Travel, said, "Fly Dining is one kind of restaurant where adventure lovers can uniquely enjoy their meals and place –150 feet up in the air."
"A table surrounded by 22 seats will be in the planned Fly Dining in Cox's Bazar. Food lovers and travelers can enjoy different types of foods at dinner," he added. The meal charge, types, and other details will be announced later.
Farida Yeasmin, General Secretary of the National Press Club attended the signing ceremony as the chief guest. Other officials of Your Travel were also present on the occasion.
